Clownz is a 27-minute horror short written by Christian Meyer and directed by Konstantin Koewius centering around Frank Streuer, a guy you wouldn't exactly consider to be a happy guy. He's the kind of guy who quits anything that remotely challenges him, so it's not a great thing when he ends up working the night shift at a parcel service. Tasked with delivering a special package, Frank becomes more determined than ever to follow through with its delivery even after a mysterious clown shows up and takes the package.

An odd yet fun little film, Clownz is a German language short with a terrific ensemble cast and a production design that is off-kilter and horrifying. It's the kind of short film that practically begs to be made into a feature film, though Koewius nicely utilizes the film's 27-minute running time and keeps the film's suspenseful chills going throughout.
