The Independent Critic is primarily a film review site, however, a couple of years ago several publishers began seeing my reviews on Goodreads and started requesting I review their publications. As a result, I began reviewing books to support authors. These reviews have now found a home on The Independent Critic as an expansion of my efforts to support indie creative voices. While I will review nearly all genres, I have a special interest in religion, self-help, Christian living, adult nonfiction, middle-grade, humor, and entertainment titles.
