"It's as Easy as Riding a Bike" a Breezy, Entertaining Short
| |
Written and directed by Derege Harding, the 10-minute short film It's as Easy as Riding a Bike is a breezy and entertaining film centering around two couples, one unexpected find and the ways in which that find impact their everyday lives in both humorous and somewhat more uncomfortable ways.
Already an official selection of Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, Lewiston Auburn Film Festival, and Urban Victory Online Film Festival, this short centers around a couple, Treavor (Daniel Hall) and Amber (Kiki Warren) who move into a new place and discover something that quickly starts to disrupt their lives and the lives of their host couple (Wes Greeson and Katharine Jameson).
It's as Easy as Riding a Bike is a lightly comical film with pleasing performance from its ensemble cast and sense enough to know when the story should end. While the story itself is fairly one-note, it plays well over the course of the film's 10-minute running time.
The film continues on its festival run and should have no problem finding a place on the indie fest circuit in a comedy block of shorts. For more information on the film, be sure to visit its official website linked to in the credits on the left.
