Massacre at Femur Creek is a retro-styled, 80's slasher short that will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you die.

Okay, I actually just made most of that up.

Written and directed by Kyle Hytonen, Massacre at Femur Creek survives a bit of a rough start and becomes a frequently funny comedy with touches of a stoner feel to it and music by Gregory Barnes & Jupiter-8 that took a little getting used to but ended up helping the film be a bit more of an immersive comical experience. Hytonen does a nice job of creating the look and feel of an 80's film without necessarily forgetting the contemporary. It's a unique approach and it works for the most part quite nicely.
